Hello Andrea, you’ve just got back from South Beach Florida right? But before we discuss that, tell me, where are you and your roots from originally?

Hello! South Beach...ahhhh yes. Oh ok let's talk roots. Originally I am from my mama and papa and before that; I guess God had a plan. Whether I follow that through, time has yet to tell. I was born in Lahore Pakistan 4th generation Anglo Indian. Look it up in Wikipedia. I'm not good at history but it had something to do with the British rule in India when East meets West you get the best...err well I’m trying!!!

So was all your schooling in India or have you, "been around" so to speak?

My education was in England as I arrived from Lahore Pakistan at age 4 due to my British and Indian Heritage citizenship was not a problem... Never been to India. If I were to be educated there I would have gone to the same boarding school as my late grandmother and mother which was in the foothills of The Himalayas called The Sacred Heart Convent. My great grandfather was a Captain George Henry Garstin in the British Navy and the convent was considered a safe and good place for young ladies. He had married Jane formerly Dulmini (meaning Sunrise) a Brahmin Indian lady who was rumoured to be a princess being a cousin to a Rajah. and the children of the mixed liaison were known as Anglo Indians, or children of the Raj. Britain ruled India for 200 years so my birthplace was East but my mentality is mainly West or somewhere in between.

So you could have some Royal connections then in your family?

Yes I have a brother who is in management at Royal Mail. (**smiles**). But perhaps you are referring to my great grandmother Dulmini. Yes she was a princess. I have been described as a drama queen but then again I am sure those are not the connections you are meaning! I own a sandcastle in Brighton and believe me that's an acquisition, seeing the beach is so rocky. I was also a pageant queen once upon a summer’s day in Miss Asia and Miss Caribbean and Commonwealth. I once lived with a former would be prince of the black mountains Zoran Petrovich had the monarchy not been overthrown in former Yugoslavia and I once briefly met HRH Prince Andrew on the bridge of the QE2, the Princes Trust, Royal Ball where he nodded. I was so overwhelmed I did not know whether to courtesy or faint. I guess then you may say my royal connections are dubious! But delicious all the same.

You mentioned a brother, were you being serious, do you have fellow siblings or are you a "One and only"?

I have always believed in the minority rule! I have three brothers but I didn't have to fight to get my parents attention, I was the cutest.
