Uncharted 2 - Amongst Thieves

Well as a few of you know I got my copy of Uncharted 2 (exclusive to the PS3…. sorry Ed…) yesterday…. well I plugged in after watching the England game and 42% of the game later I have to say, fantastic game, the only thing that spoils this game is the fact that first game was so good, it was always going to be hard to improve on Uncharted, but I can say based on the single player game they have, don't worry I put any spoilers out there…..

When the game started up I was like "man great graphics, " and it had a familiar thing about it…. from seconds into the game bang you where in a high suspense action scene talk about starting how you mean to go on awesome….. as the game progressed I wasn't sure about the flow of the storyline, but I soon forgot about that I was hit with gorgeous looking cut scene…. in a couple of words… "What a Game"…. I would say this game is more story driven than the first game, this one if definitely more like being part of an epic action adventure film….

Gameplay

This game was everything about gameplay, with the onscreen instructions I am still yet to read the instruction manual. Also there was fantastic use of the camera angles and they got it pretty much right 100% of the time, though there were a couple of times they seemed to have got it a wrong, but let's say the camera angle given was the best for that particular section of the game…. So for gameplay I'd have to give this a 10/10.

Content:

This for me would be the storyline and for this game, I would say the storyline is proving epic and a storyboard for any good action adventure movie. What added to the storyline was that the people who did the voices for all the characters were spot on in terms of voice acting and delivery tone etc, much like the first game. so for content I'd have to say 10/10.

Simulation:

So far I've hit a one glitch where I could run over or through something that I shouldn't be able too, which was fatal, but unlike the first game which at times was a little linear, this game is more open and you can interact with a whole lot more of scenery, but it's still not a fully packed out Sandbox game like Infamous (exclusive to PS3…. sorry Ed, and Grand Theft Auto games) I'd have to give the game 9/10 for simulation.

Music:

Like the first game this was absolutely spot on. It was fantastic and up there with even the best film musical scores, I could not fault this game in anyway when it comes to the musical side of things, so 10/10 for the music.

Graphics:

Wow is all I can say about the graphics, these have to be the most elegant, beautiful, possibly better than the first game. These graphics 10/10.

If you got a PS3 or access to a PS3…. you should def buy this game….
